Meet Lolly

Formally trained at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Lolly Jamerson earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in 1990. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 1991 and began her work as a professional artist, creating and selling original oil paintings. Over the past 33 years, Lolly has had the privilege of creating custom artworks for a diverse clientele.

Guided by a passion and deep desire to express and interpret the visual world around us, Lolly’s work as an oil painter is a vibrant tapestry of colorful, intimate, and thoughtful themes. She is dedicated to ensuring that each brushstroke is an invitation to an intimate dialogue between the artwork and the viewer.

Lolly’s artistic journey transcends the confines of the ordinary, where she experiments with spatial elements, colors and themes around people, animals and landscapes. She is drawn to capturing moments frozen in time or the fluid passage of time itself, evoking powerful memories for those who encounter her work. Images emerge from the canvas inviting the viewer to explore the intersection of reality and imagination, where the essence of individuals and places intertwine with the universal threads of human experience.
